Who we are
This website is operated by Osnova Accounting Services ("Osnova", "we"), a fractional accounting practice. For anything in this policy, email info@osnovamgmt.com. We reply within one business day.
What we collect
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, a subject and your message. That is the only personal information this website collects, and you provide it deliberately - there is no account system, no tracking pixels and no data purchased from third parties.
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use these only to keep the site running and secure.
Why we collect it
One reason: to reply to your enquiry and, if the conversation continues, to run the engagement that follows. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing email. If we ever start a newsletter, joining it will be a separate, explicit choice.
Who sees it
Enquiries are read by the person who does the work, not a sales team. We never sell personal information and we never share it for advertising. The only third parties that touch it are the service providers that make the site work - hosting, form delivery and email - each bound by their own data-processing terms.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within twelve months. Records connected to an engagement are kept for as long as professional and tax record-keeping obligations require, then deleted. Server logs rotate on our host's standard schedule, typically thirty days.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics, it will be a privacy-focused, cookieless service that counts visits without identifying visitors, and we will name it here.
Your choices
Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it - usually within one business day, and always within thirty. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA and similar), those rights apply and the same email address is how you exercise them. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority, though we would rather you told us first.
Client data is different
Ledgers, payroll records and financial data we handle during an engagement are governed by the engagement letter and its confidentiality terms, not by this website policy. This page covers the website only.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date. We do not change it retroactively, and we will not weaken it quietly.
